Work Experiences

Digital Illustration Instructor - 2022 to present

  1. Taught kids from 5th - 6th grade Ibis Paint, a digital illustration software.

  2. Taught how to properly utilize the unique components and intricacies on how digital art is formed.

  3. Given the opportunity to explore different types of digital illustration programs whilst incorporating the foundational skill set they have been taught.

  4. Taught students basic art skills such as:

    • Color Theory 

    • Light & Dark values

    • Anatomy & Proportions

    • Positive & Negative Space

    • Line Weight & Brush Strokes


Computer Coding Instructor - 2021 to present

  1. Taught kids ranging from 1st - 6th grade Scratch coding programming language (scratch.mit.edu)

  2. Taught fundamental coding skill sets to be later used in more complex coding languages.

  3. Graded student's homework and final exams.

  4. Collaborated with the owner of the school for curriculum content.

Achievements

​

  • Keychain & Sticker Design was chosen for school Art Club Fundraiser event.

  • Created Artwork for Aunt's Baby Shower to be used as a framed on entrance.

  • Won two minor art competitions in which received $250.

  • Artworks were displayed on School Bulletin Board & Open House.

Volunteer Work

Children Camping Staff

  1. Help take care and babysit toddlers ranging from 4 - 5 year olds​.

  2. Kept track of toddlers and managed attendance.

Illustrating Artwork at Church Nursery

  1. Painted walls of a Nursery of a Church.

  2. Created Child-friendly Biblical Imagery and symbols creating a fun & exciting environment for babies & young toddlers.

Teacher Aide

  1. Helped prepare papers, crafts, and folders for 2nd graders.

  2. Helped cut & fold paper, organize folders & binders, and set up the classroom.

Preparing food-kit stations

  1. Helped set up and prepare cookie making stations for Church Christmas Event.

Singing for Church Band Team

  1. Was part of the Church Youth Praise Band that performed at least once a week.

  2. Performed 3-5 songs every week, either singing or playing the keyboard.
